They all turned into Macy's in my area. Before the change in name a lot of their clothes were selling for only a few dollars. I got a lot of shirts for under $3 each, even a cashmere sweater for under $20, shoes for $8. I liked Mervyn's , good times.
My sister had bad credit reported from Mervyns...ended up on my credit report.
Our SS#'s were one digit off. Same first two initials...D.J. , same last name.
Good times....
Is it just me or does anyone else think the majority of things in this thread contain at least some creepy factor?
Yeah you just don't see any good Exorcist movies anymore. Or Captain Howdy brand Ouija boards.
And, you can make $5.00 to $20.00 a week!
Of course, minimum wage was probably 75 cents an hour at the time.
