Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

I remember these as a kid in the 1950s and perhaps early 60s. At night, you could see the electric sparks coming off of the overhead contacts of these old electric busses that requried overhead wires.
Road alligators. The treads that flew off of recapped truck tires and used to lay beside the highway. When was that, back in the 80s?
These are still heavily used in San Francisco.
I'm not sure why, but I like that cap. I'd wear it now and then just for fun!
Did you see the "limited edition" Pizza Hut bucket hats a couple of years ago? They were reversible, made to look like the 80s-era chandeliers on one side, and if you turn it inside out, the red shingled roof on the other:
They were sold out before I could get my hands on one.
I've also noticed that some of the Burger King staff in my neck of the woods have been sporting some retro-styled varsity / Members Only / "stuntman"-styled jackets in a brassy metallic color which - not even gonna lie - look pretty cool.
I gotta draw a line at the whopper hat, though. Not sure I could pull that off.

I go back and forth(prolly should be "forth and back")to Orlando weekly on Florida's turnpike. Lots of 'em.I guess I don't get out muchbut then I don't travel highways like I used to.
PYREX Glass Coffee Pot Percolator
These are pretty much gone. Back in the 40s. 50s and 60s, this is the way many American households made coffee. I remember my mom using one (yes, I'm that old). And, I bought one on eBay about 20 years ago for rememberance sake and have it in storage (never used it).
I think I paid around $20 for mine and now I'm seeing these sell $100 and above.
I know race tracks are still made but I don't about these companies making them anymore.
Big bass rigs from all manufacturers. Everything is little these days....
