My son’s previous house had one of those that also included an intercom, so you could pipe music throughout the entire house. It didn’t have a digital clock on it, but had the radio and cassette player.
Ah yes, the house feature that was universally broken before the ink was dry on the closing documents, then ignored for 40 years.
The non working one in my friend's house had vacuum tubes in it.
Just reminded me of something I hadn't thought about for sixty years... You know you are old when you can remember these old tube testers at the corner drug store.
Almost 50 years ago I went into my corner drugstore and asked about that machine which was no longer there. The guy was incredulous and said
"how old ARE you".
Cardi's Nightclubs... I believe they were only in Texas.
I played in a road band in the early 80s and we gigged at the Austin and Beaumont locations.

A house we lived in while I was in high school and college had one with intercoms in every bedroom. Our parents would call us down to dinner with it. It had a radio, but we never used that feature. It was still working when my parents moved out 10 years later.
I will be seeing one of these, (as of yesterday when I obtained it), but most people probably don't see an Atwater Kent Model 944 radio every day.

Last one I saw in person was 1975. It seemed much cruder than this one. Must be a late model.

I don't recall seeing clothes like this in JCPenney stores back in the day; maybe it was just a mail order option. I guess you could call it Flagg Bros. lite!

The home I was raised in had a tube powered intercom/am radio with speakers in the bedrooms and on the front porch. Was still operating ten years ago when our family trust sold the house.
