These Saturday morning kids programmes, The Clangers - the story usually involved the Soup Dragon somewhere along the line, and Bagpuss - who had a 'fix 'em up shop' that people would bring in articles they didn't want for the mice to clean up, and Professor Yaffle would sus out what it was, pure innocence and great moralistic story's in simple form.

There was a kid's show back in the early 90's that featured a man in a pig costume, and a lady farmer who wore daisy duke overalls and a red shirt. She had a very large chest. The man in the pig costume would feel her up whenever he could. I think it came on right before "Bananas in Pajamas." I don't think it lasted long, though

I'm glad to see you say this,...I swear Spokane is the only town were pedestrians walk in the streets and ignorant "cyclists" (read dumb*** kids and ner'do'wells who have had their DL's revoked) ride on the sidewalks.

I think it should be legal to run over these pedestrians in the street if there is a sidewalk and they aren't using it. The main problem with that would be having your car in the body shop after each drive.

Trading stamps (Green Stamps, Gold Stamps, etc) - my mom had a special drawer in the kitchen just for the stamps, the books to put them in, and the catalogs listing what you could get with the stamps. Whenever I was home sick from elementary school, I'd get stuck putting stamps into books for her.
