I'd gladly trade a revival of the latter for an insurgence of the former.

Sambo's Restaurants were formerly an American restaurant chain, started in 1957 by Sam Battistone and Newell Bohnett. Though the name was taken from portions of the names of its founders, the chain soon found itself associated with The Story of Little Black Sambo. By 1979, Sambo's had 1,200 outlets in 47 US states. However, in the late-1970s, controversy over the chain's name drew protests and lawsuits in communities that viewed the term Sambo as predjudiced towards African-Americans. After renaming some locations as "The Jolly Tiger" or "No Place Like Sam's" the company filed for bankruptcy in 1981.

There was a kid's show back in the early 90's that featured a man in a pig costume, and a lady farmer who wore daisy duke overalls and a red shirt. She had a very large chest. The man in the pig costume would feel her up whenever he could. I think it came on right before "Bananas in Pajamas." I don't think it lasted long, though
shave soap, and brush.
I see them everyday, but most folks don't.
I too use these. Cept I use 3 blade disposable razors,...but I've considered going the safety razor route for expense or lack there of.

When it came to music, especially when I got into punk rock in the late 70s, early 80s, we had zines and word of mouth. Underground music was like a club sort of. No CDs either, so you'd go to the record store and lok through the vinyl, find something interesting.
..........On vinyl. Then going home and making tapes of them to preserve the vinyl..............
