I know someone who really does have a pogo endpin on his old ALCOA aluminum bass and he bounces all over the stage with it!
I think this a real product that's a bass-repair-industry conspiracy to increase repair business. (And cabal with insurance companies to increase ER visits).

No, no. If you had taken the Mazda rotary engine approach, you could put the bass on auto-spin.
