Those 'interesting' basses you've always craved?

I'm not sure why, but I've always liked the looks of the BC Rich Mockingbird. I've never actually played one, though.

About a year after I started playing, I got myself a Rickenbacker, and that has been my main bass up until this year. I couldn't justify spending money on more than one quality bass, so it was just the one bass until last year.

Like you, I had never played a Mockingbird, and I have wanted one since high school (over 30 years ago). One popped up on Craigs List a few months ago, and I nabbed it for $200. Woohoo! I felt like a kid at Christmas! Still do, kinda.

I wanted a T-bird since high school, too. I got an Epiphone Nikki Sixx version off ebay this year, also for around $200, satisfying my lust for that one as well.

Hmmm...I guese Clement and Fodera.
I never bought, played,or even saw any of these.
All of the models I heard or saw pics of in TB/other bass forums.

Though they are probably never close to the real thing.

But to be honest,if I get to decide whether playing a Clement or a Fodera?...
I'll go Clement.
Because Clement is something I might be able to buy, lol!
