Those 'interesting' basses you've always craved?

I've kinda always had an attraction to 'different/interesting' basses. And I was wondering who else does? And which ones they're craving at the moment?

At the top of my gas list at the moment, the ovation magnum. Not sure if I'll ever get one, cause I would want one that is active, bi-output, and the first body style. I've yet to find one like that.

Whats yours?
Thanks

I'm always on the lookout for something "interesting" - something I don't already have...

current GAS list (changes by the minute):

Wal (MK1 or MK2) - some unique pups/electronics in there

Status (or other graphite necked bass)

Just realized the above are both from England...

I'm TOTALLY into the NOT-AN-EFFING-FENDER ideal these days...

#1 GAS... Jerry Jones Longhorn (or a decent Dano')

But other than that i'm pretty into anything Eastwood does as well as funky old MiJ basses. Though it's pretty damn fender-y, I'd also love an Ibanez Black Eagle... but i mean.... who wouldn't?

These! I'd actually prefer the Dano 63. But the black eagle! Krist is my hero, so I'd love one of these.

Yeahhhh... i'm totally a fan of the 63, too :D

I with ya'll on the Black Eagle (and I'm not an Ibby fan) - they should re-issue (or would that make it not cool?)

On the MIJ vintage front - I can't explain why I want one of these:

Dano or JJ Longhorn. Always wanted a Longhorn bass.

I also like those Guild/Dearmond JetStars...the ones that look like a melted Gumby.

Also really dig the Ibanez Jet Kings, but they are too small for me.

I sometimes pine for a 12 stringer.

Oh-- and a big ol' Gretsch hollowbody would be cool.

I doubt I'll ever own any of these though.

Six string fretless was an itch that I had for awhile - I scratched that one :)

A Ritter bass is another one of those interesting cravings I know I'm going to have to satisfy someday; maybe one like Phil's

I'm all about anything that's unique or interesting. That's why I bought a semi-hollow scroll-head violin bass that's beat up pretty bad (I think it's a Univox Lectra, but I'm not 100% sure). I also have an imitation Carl Thompson w/ f-mandolin style headstock in the works. I'm pretty excited to see how that turns out.
