Thoughts on a sedan that can hold a 212 cab

I was able to fit my Aguilar 410 in both an Accord (2018) and a Fiat 500 in the back seats. as long as you don't need to put people in the back you'll be fine with most options
I will always be a Subaru Forester fan, but not a sedan.
My 2011 Prius holds my Genzler Nu Classic 2x12 plus lots of other gear. I could carry it all with all the seating intact but I'd have to offload my backup Rumble 500 or Genz Benz 6.0/12T.

Take the gear with you when you go to the dealers. If it don’t fit, don’t buy
I got a lot of weird looks when I brought the gig bag for a DB to the dealer and tried it in various cars until I found one that wasn’t a minivan but had enough room.
How big is the Aguilar 2-12 ? I got two Bergantino 1-12 cabs into the trunk of a Camry, the last sedan I owned.
Some OT trivia. Years ago when I was talking with Steve Rabe, he told me he chose the size of the SWR Redhead combo so it would fit into the trunk of a BMW sedan
Yes, those are chrome Slingerlands. His uncle (I think) worked at the Slingerland factory that was on Milwaukee Ave in Niles, Il just north of Chicago. He picked it up off the loading dock there…it was a fairly expensive set for the time.
I've been driving a Chevy Cruze for nearly 10 years now and I can fit two 1x12 Hartke cabs in the trunk, with room for an amp head and cables and stuff.
Before that I used to drive a diesel smart, and was able to load my EA CXL112 cab and amp in the back, with music and guitar stand - bass and bag in the passenger seat... Good times...

What ever you choose- be sure the is no “lift over” to get equipment into the trunk. You want to be able to slide in and out without dropping the cabinet into a hole.
I love the first generation xB so much I have 2 of them. A pair of Shuttle cabs in their Tukis fit perfectly side by side in the back without having to put the seats down. That leaves the whole center section for a crap ton of other gear.....all while getting 35mpg. Not a sedan and 20 years out of production, but still...If you're ok with used, check out a Scion xB. Same platform as the Toyota Yaris, will likely run forever, and can haul a stupid amount of equipment. They're as close to a TARDIS as you can get in realspace.

I went many years with a '69 Toyota Corona 4dr that my Yamaha 215 cab would easily fit across the back seat.

Jettas have surprising large trunks. They also open from the inside. The front seat will almost go horizontal and this has enabled me to load my upright bass lying on the front seat and the neck just over the back seat. You can another person seating in the back, Most basses and my bass is a chunky 3/4 and not a sloping shoulder. If you a C extension you may have to open the seat and part of the neck will be in the trunk. The Passats are even roomier. Of course I have Sportwagens so those are even more space than many medium SUVs.
Schroeder 212PL in a Scion tC. It fit perfectly, with the backseat up. But I guess that was a hatch. I liked that car, wish they would have kept them around.
Kinda ugly outside, but beautiful inside, a used Panamera is an absolute steal, even with low miles.
