There's a new style in your style chooser: TB FLAT LIGHT. It's a modern style, and very light-weight (no images/gradients, just icon fonts for graphics). Folks with slower mobile phones may especially like this style (until new app comes out).

Some of the benefits of TB FLAT LIGHT:
  • Sticky navigation bar & inbox/alerts
  • Lightweight, high performance
  • Larger font sizes: easier to read esp on mobile
  • Post headers separate posts
I've been using this style for a couple days, and I love it. Makes me want to make it the default... ;)

It loads faster and is cleaner on my phone. However, I have really gotten used to the "DARK" style, especially at night when I'm supposed to be sleeping.....
:wideyed:

I will give it a whirl more during the day and see what happens.

Was not aware i could change styles. I like it while reading threads, but browsing through thread options looks kind of busy; the thread titles are too close in size to the rest of the fonts. I'm a mobile user by the way.

I like it, I'll add to those that would like a dark style. I had a hard time distinguishing from stickies and active threads, maybe put like a double or triple thick line between them. Also when I click on a thread with new posts It doesn't go to the first unread it goes to a few above it.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm really glad it's helping on some of your phones.

@two fingers @hondo4life @line6man @Downunderwonder : FLAT DARK now available in the style chooser. Let me know what you think!

Cool!

Here is my first bit of (constructive) criticism. I usually navigate the forum by hovering my mouse over the "Forums" button, at the top of the screen, and then clicking on a sub-forum, from the big menu that appears. With the new "Flat Dark" theme, nothing happens when you hover over the "Forums" button.

The only thing is in order to have that dropdown, another javascript file needs to load... and I really want to keep the FLAT styles as lightweight and snappy as possible. I'm not sure if you know about the "Quick Navigation" icon (looks like a site-map icon) at the top-right and bottom-right of all pages? I'd be interested to know if this is a workable alternative for you and other forum-dropdown-menu fans?
