Thoughts on new "TB Flat Light" style?

Flat white is great on my pc but I prefer the flat black on my smart phone

I like it but the dark is so much easier on my eyes (PC). I still voted for it over the old default. The text seems easier to read and I like the wide open feel. Nice work! And I haven't said so but I appreciate all of the ongoing effort you all put into this site.

I use the RETRO style. Reminds me of old TB. Looks good at home and on my phone.

I think flat light is just too bright. I do like flat dark.

However I will use retro, because that is only style where the icons show up in the message box and elsewhere in the forum. Other than that I am just guessing. Retro loads faster too. I have an older desktop and a 26400 dialup connection is all I can get. Cable ends 3 miles down the road, hopefully they expand it in the future.

Dialup! Woah! Do you have avatars turned off? If not you can do that in your preferences, should save some bits and bytes over the lines...

Thanks for the tip. Avatars load ok, but I do run some other add-ons to choose what images and scripts will load. I don't do video or social networking sites.

I'm sure it will be good for mobile users but I rarely view TB on mine because the screen is too small for my tired old eyes.

My choice on a laptop is RETRO and I'm not bothered what style you set as default as long as I can find out how to switch it back.

I just tried it. I'm not a fan.
It looks too wide open, and I like the blues in RETRO.
