I purged myself last summer when I had to quit for a couple of months. Unsubscribed from all threads.

I've since then gotten up to 34 pages of subscribed threads, and that's with deleting threads I'm no longer interested in about once a month.

What gets me to do the "deletes" is when threads I'm not interested in anymore start continually coming to the top. Then I start checking off boxes and saying buh bye!

FWIW - the threads are always still there, you can always subscribe again if you choose to, and it's actually refreshing to come back to a thread that pops up in new posts that I haven't seen in months or years. I'm sure I've responded more than once with the same response, too, in those threads :).

Yeah that's usually the number one reason I end up deleting a thread, is when it keeps going to the top of my notifications and I'm not interested anymore. Thank God for that, otherwise it will never end....

So @Killed_by_Death has been mentioned, @Joe Nerve chimed in, @S-Bigbottom presented a kitten in a bag, but I haven't seen @Passinwind, @agedhorse or @JimmyM here.

Let's see-- I'll try a chant-- When I crank my Ampeg it sounds like passin wind but what's worse is when I have to haul it off I'm as tired as an aged horse...

Ok I've started trouble again... sorry guys.... (runs into dark and hides)..... :bag: :help:
