I get this text from the guitarist
"Make sure you tune your bass now. Don't want to be tuning in stage before we start our set. Bad image"
I don't even know where to begin![]()
Maybe he meant to send it to the drummer and sent it to you accidentally?
By this he means pics for the "chicks at shows" thread. Just want to make sure u know what a real gig report demandsUnless you're playing a large club or stadium gig with a tech to tune up for you offstage before you walk on to an adoring, screaming crowd... tuning up silently onstage before the gig doesn't constitute an unprofessional image.
However, as previously noted, playing out of tune during the gig might be a bit of a train wreck.
And, by all means, please post a gig report. @BassCliff sets the standard around here if you need an example.
