I never paid much attention to the Tbird until the day I saw one hanging in a pawn shop. I couldn't get the thing out of my head. Now I have two. :hyper:

The Goth is a 2003 early production. It's really worn in the matt black is 99% rubbed smooth, it's solid bass. Not as bright as the VSB.

Easy fix Mark, a quick burn in and a little touch up and your all set.

I always use shim brass on the three point bridges for individual height adjustment. Just cut a piece to fit in the channel.

Good idea. I never thought of that. i usually file the rest down and then raise the whole bridge.

Well i do have a question. Need to replace the tone pot on the Goth, i know it's 500k can someone recommend me one, do i need long shaft etc..

Picked up a Lull T4 last week, been putting through the paces. Can't say enough about the craftsmanship and beauty and sounds of this bass! Love it. Perhaps a number is in order?

The Lull T4 sports an incredibly low action due to the Plek fret analysis and the setup; really fast. I've never been a pick player, but have been working on it lately. You can bet the T4 through the SVT-CL has " the sound"! For you that use a pick, how do you prefer the action?? Think I'll need to raise it just a bit. I can make this action work for fingerstyle, in fact, it sounds good backing off the attack a bit, and digging in for a little "clank" when needed.
