I keep the GK set flat, and use the VT Bass, which is on 100% of the time, as my preamp.

Congrats on the bird! I'm very keen on trying one of the Elitist Epi's. How do you have your VT Bass pedal set? I ordered one last week and cant wait to hear what it sounds like with my Tbird.

The Ric was off e(vil)Bay. But the Bird was from GC Downtown. They dropped the price finally and I could not help own a bass from a premier era of Manson. Plus it just looks awesome and sounds even better.

That was an awesome video, TBird1958. Love John Taylor's basslines that you played so well.

The only Tbird I have tried is an Epiphone Blackbird, lets just say that the GAS has not quite come to the surface, but I'm on a look out for good deals that might change that.

Yeah I played that bird when it was there. I sure wish I had the cash to grab it.

The reason I asked about the Ric was that it's a very unusual colour for a Ric and I used to own the one that ended up at BassNW a few months ago. It was one of the ones I was forced to sell to pay medical bills.

So I busted out the new bird tonight. Good balance, no neck dive. I BI amp so it spread out nice. I use a EBS mutidrive that stays on on my top signal so that added to the growl. Nice tight bottom, no flub / /flab like my hamer used to give me problems. Hmm mm, what else???

I dont know about you guys, but this thing looks awesome!! I'm seriously considering getting one after I get an SVT. What do you guys think? What do you think they will end up charging for it? (considering it's not custom shop...)

I will post some pics of my 4th gibson t bird I have owned , Bought my first t bird 8 months ago and now have owned 5 , 4 being gibson.

This one is a all original black one from 1991.

Been recording a band demo, have a few tracks with rhythm only playing my Lull T4, fingerstyle, pretty good demo of the sound of this bass - any suggestions where to post the audio clips?? Could put on myspace, better options? I definitely would have liked to hear something like this before buying the bass.....
