Here's a photo of the back of the headstock. The "D" string tuner is in the stock Epi position, and used the stock Epi screw hole. The others had to be adjusted a bit, forming an "arc" as shown. The variation from the stock pilot holes was very slight, but necessary because the clovers are so much bigger than the stock Gotoh style tuners.

The II is the one pickup version. Most collectors go gaga for the IVs I just happen to like IIs better. I rarely use a bridge pup the only bass I do is a EB3. Here's an Epi Thunderbird I bought last week. Plays and sounds great. I've had my eye on these for a while, and I'm happy to add this one to my stable. FWIW, they've moved the strap button to the neck plate on the newer ones, and it balances pretty well.

If I can have a number, that would be awesome.
