Thunderbird Club

I've been banned from better places than this.
Reminds me of a baseball team I was on. After game pizza and beer. Teammate sees a sign on the jukebox, out of order. Notices it isn’t plugged in…plugs it in. AC/DC at about 200db. Owners says we are disturbing his clientele. We say, we’re your only clientele. Lifetime suspension.

Wow! He told you! And lost how much business, then and in the future?

Oops! Left this one out(still attached).

I bought one when they first hit the market right before Christmas. I love mine and have been playing it a lot. It has the Angry Piano Tone that we love so much, but doesn't sound like a Thunderbird.
The one in your link is the cheapest I have seen one listed. Mine has a more pronounced wood grain to it. I do not regret the purchase in any way.

Hows the Neck profile on this ? What's the feel (haven't played spectors in a long time). Looks gorgeous

I have yet to find a Spector that isn’t top notch build and finish quality, and I really like the look of that raised grain. So what preamp are they using in these?

Thanks! The neck is the same width as a Gibson, but the neck is chunkier. Reminds me more of the RD or LP Standard basses I used to own. Not uncomfortable, just not a skinny neck. It is not light, but I don't consider it heavy but it is around 9.5 lbs. Comfortable on a strap. It feels nice and solid and sounds great! No complaints on the fit or finish from me. Has a nice growl to it. I am unlikely to upgrade anything on it because I like it just the way it is. I am glad I went for it when they were released.
