Maybe Gibby is more like Devo. They created perfection with the original Tbird and they’ve been devolving ever since then.

I dunno. The CP is supposed to sound like the modern Gibbys, and it's prefect for a different sound.

one of my favorite looking treble geetars is the early 70's SG Deluxe.

not willing to pay the prices they go for...

so I took my 2018 special and...

I added a harmonica bridge, and B3 bigsby and I need to get some 3 or 5 ply pickguard material, and I'll clean up and enlarge the D guard, I have the perfect shape on the les paul guard and I'm done...

Where did you get that bridge? How much travel do the saddles have?

It’s a Schaller harmonica bridge, it has a little more adjustment than the current Gibstone tuna-matic bridge. Gibson used them for just a few years in the early 70’s, I really like the way they look.
