I KNEW someone would have it, I just found out these exist today. I wouldn't say I'm a Gene Simmons fanboy but I love his signature Thunderbird
You seem like a prime candidate to be the second here to own one.

Sometimes, hearing an interview can be disappointing, not because of the content, but because it removes your preconceived notions.
Whenever I read @JIO posts, they were always in Sean Connery's voice. Now I know otherwise and it will never be the same.
Here is a bad pic of an amazing bass
I love it, killer tone, need to get used to the shape but loving everything about it
Can I get a number ?

You really look quite different without hair. And sound slightly Scottish.

I was trying to be openminded but just can't suspend reason that long. It may sound great, but sometimes trying to be cool backfires. Like this with this.

Absolutely Awesome! I really like a lot of the features of the G2, was hoping they’d release the red one also. Here is a bad pic of an amazing bass

Yeah, I think they wanted to get close to Gibson spec and look but no so close they would be challenged on patent issues. I’ll stick to the real deal - Tbirds. It looks to me like they're trying to cop(y) a Gibson vibe though, especially with the 12" radius and the body shape.
I think he said nickel RS66. Steve Harris strings alternate blue and orange (or red).Pelham blue strings on a burgundy bird??
Are they Steve Harris strings?
Set neck, slab body, no 3 Point - it's the G2 prototype.

I thought the Steve Harris strings were Chelsea blue at the headstock end. I could be worng. It has happened before...I think he said nickel RS66. Steve Harris strings alternate blue and orange (or red).
He'd probably hit you over the head with his bass for saying that. His team is West Ham United.I thought the Steve Harris strings were Chelsea blue at the headstock end. I could be worng. It has happened before...
Best of both worlds and cuts costs.Pelham blue strings on a burgundy bird??

Hmmm. I don't think you can lay claim to a fretboard radius. And I think the body shape they would claim goes back to their jazzmaster style. Recall that the NR Thunderbird was the subject of a C&D from Fender when it first came out.It looks to me like they're trying to cop(y) a Gibson vibe though, especially with the 12" radius and the body shape.
Yeah, whichever soccer hooligans he supports...He'd probably hit you over the head with his bass for saying that. His team is West Ham United.

TL;DR - everyone has had body styles. It is hardly worth arguing who copied whom.
