I think they were almost identical or something but the model is on the front fender.

The top is a Dart and the bottom is a Phoenix

Yeah, the '62 dodges weren't beauty queens that's for sure. They weren't bad from some angles.

It seems the pillarless is the Dart; pillars is the Phoenix. At least in the sample of 2 supplied

I guess sustain was the wrong word, but do you feel that the notes reverberate through the body of the instrument stronger, when using a bridge pressed against the body like the babicz or hipshot?
No. I prefer Babicz for more intonation travel and string height adjustability than either the Hipshot or three point. You can achieve the lowest action with it.. But adjustable string spacing, if that’s what you need, is only available with the Hipshot. I like low action and the Babicz is the best choice to achieve that. IMO.

I had a '65 Dart and a '62 Dart except mine had a 318 instead of a 413, a drummer I used to play with bought a new one in 1962 with a 413 and dual quads, it was long gone by the time I met him though. I can't imagine how fast the 413 must have been though because mine with the 318 was pretty quick. They were a little bigger than the later Darts.
I can't imagine a 413 on that frame. I had a 400 in my '76 Cordoba and was plenty speedy. My '72 Plymouth had a 318 (which was odd) and it was crazy quick if you could keep the the back ties from spinning. Bigger ties helped. I may have carried my first Thunderbird in this car.
