I was looking at a 65 barracuda, when I got my 65 Fairlane.

That looks pretty good for what it is. I have had a 126, which is the next generation of that combo, since about 1980 or 1981. They are tough as nails and keep right on making sound forever. But, they are big and heavy. As much as I like ACC equipment, I wouldn't buy a 136 or 126 now. Unless it was really cheap and it was for a rehearsal space. $400 is too much for one. That's my opinion. I have a very different opinion of other ACC equipment which is bigger, heavier, and worth every bit of pain to move.here ya go...

At least you still have a flock. So that's good.I have been a bit, they’re old pictures
Most are in their cases. Haven’t been able to play much lately
My favorite name that makes no sense: Dodge Ram. Plus the ram head that looks like a uterus diagram. And then they had the Big Horn Edition, with the uterus diagram after Horn, which turned it into Big Horny Edition. I can't find a picture of it, but I know it existed because a guy I worked with had one. He never understood what I thought was so funny about his truck.View attachment 4696164
Like Ford Focus(?), Dodge Charger(football player?), Subaru Outback(Crocodile Dundee or Bloomin' Onion), Jeep Cherokee(politically incorrect),Ford Mustang(oh...wait), Lincoln Navigator(Christopher Columbus?), Hyundai Santa Fe(train or map of city), Aston-Martin(pic of Connery?).

Either somebody had a really perverse sense of humor at Chrysler that day, or the suits making decisions were oblivious. Or both.
Looks like a legit Tbird Studio (never seen one in that color though). IIRC they are a 35” scale.
Mostly what I’ve run into as well. Finding gems among the Pawnshops can be done but it’s rare. There are a couple of birds out there that aren’t as well known that could fetch higher prices if the shop knows what they have - Epiphone CP comes to mind.Pawnshops around here tend to be a little too proud of whatever it is they have.
Not sure about you, but knowing the identical item is selling at two distant places at the same time leads me to believe one of the sales is potentially a ploy to get the buyer to bring $400 in cash to a rendezvous. I’d pass, or better yet, if I really wanted the item I’d make it clear the deal has to go down at the local police station parking lot, in which case I bet he’s a no show.Who's the scammer?
if you get scammed when meeting locally and exchanging munny for physical goods.....
Well, asked if available. Said yes. Asked to see it, no reply. We’ll see if that changes. We have an office in Albuquerque...

Don’t know for sure, but I think they also made a five string studio and it’s not uncommon to have a 35” scale for the low B. Just a guess. I’m sure Veronica could answer the question, our Queen has a Studio bass IIRC.really? why? As if first position on a T-bird wasn't already a stretch.

The one that I can’t unsee is the Toyota pickup trucks with the 4” high letters on the side that say TRD Racing. I cannot for the life of me not think TURD Racing every time I see it.My favorite name that makes no sense: Dodge Ram. Plus the ram head that looks like a uterus diagram. I agree, but we are talking Gibson here. Keep in mind it’s a neck through with a unique headstock. Might be easier for Gibby to use the same 35” necks for both the 4 and 5 string and just drill tuning holes as needed. Again, just a guess.Yes, I'm aware of 5r's being 35" scale... but a four-string? ...very questionable.

LOL - that was the model (ok maybe the Pacer was right there with it) that made me realize AMC had jumped the shark.
I amended my post with the facts - both 4 & 5r's are 34" scale - regardless of the skinny hs

I’m not sure I want to know the answer to that question, or (if true) the reason behind it.That begs the question - Is the seller is exaggerating the size of his bird???
