Thunderbird Club

I really like the Bambi Molesters. Need to see if there’s more.

They have 4 recordings/CD's - all great. They are much more interesting than straight-ahead surf incorporating lounge and latin flavors and original material. (very few surf covers)

...and a documentary... get your pause-button ready - the subtitles fly by!

I was out this morning looking for dogs. I did 11.5km and checked out where I have been lucky in the past.

No dog playing aquaman today.

Thinking of buying another set of SIT Power Steels and Dunlop Super Bright Steels that are in a cart for good prices. Any thoughts on the Dunlops? How do they compare/contrast with Roto 66s for example. I know @MCF speaks highly of them.

GHP Precision Flats were meh on the NR live. Not bad, just not interesting enough.
I like both. The Dunlops may be a bit brighter for a few weeks but then soften a touch and sound similar to the SITs. I like the mids from both. Both are smoother to the touch than Rotos with the Dunlops maybe just a touch smoother feeling. My local sells the Dunlops so I can always pick up a set when the whim for a string change strikes. But I’m going to order some SITs for the VP here soon.

I just make sure I don't miss a day, you then usually only have two or three pages to go through, some very interesting stuff here though and it always gets back around to T-Birds.

I dig everything that goes on here no matter what the content.

It's all of you and the friendly banter that makes it cool.
I'm basically just thinking about the trip out to headquarters, or south of. :)

So many dresses, which to bring? So many Birds, which to bring?

Pete Townshend quote about John Entwistle from An Ox's Tale:

"Being onstage with a guitar with a big amplifier with, you know, it became his voice but not just the voice of his musicianship,.... the voice of his nature. You know, it was who he was. And he never ever, ever, ever, ever, in any show that I've ever done with John, under any circumstances has ever been difficult to hear." Oh, several Thunderbird appearances.
