Thunderbird Club

...and that Guild guitar was off the charts cool - at 9:30 was a song by them I really liked - essentially a hippy C&W song! Followed by one of their biggest hits.

This wasn't a Top 40 hit, but on one of their LP's (Hums of The Lovin' Spoonfull) - one of my faves.

I knew (and loved/love) everything on that first video except the song at ~16:00. What is that?
Never heard the second video's song before.
I really liked this from "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" as well. Also on the B side of the "Rain on the Roof" 45, which is how I heard of it. Lovely weird.

The headstock is a much a part of an instrument as the rest of it to me as far the the gestalt of the aesthetics. I like more narrow ones usually.

I've always preferred all on one side tuners. But while I really like the Thunderbird and Strat headstocks, I've never been a big fan of Tele headstocks.

I've just discovered two really good examples of EMGs, really like what you can get with them. I actually had a PJ set years ago, and when I dug in I got a nice crunch.
I just rediscovered this through @Chucky Stiletti and a Wooten vid I saw recently... I'll see if I can find it.
Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it's pretty cool.
Dirt and punch, less woof/murk...
now sporting Barts…

I'm confident enough in my manhood that I'm not hindered from saying they had a few hits I really liked.

I really liked SOS, brings back good memories too, Dancing Queen isn't bad either.....ducks, looking around.......... Hey I even like some of the early 60's stuff that everyone always says is schlock. This was a little before my time, I learned about this stuff from my rock n roll aunt.

Actually this was early schlock- 1958

A modded Tele has been a fav/fascination since I saw these pics when I was about 12. That's why I love the headstock so much also:

Yup me too and let's not forget about our man "Jimmy Bain" wielding that weapon of choice!! Saw him a few times with Rainbow & Dio
Till this day this tune gives me goosebumps!!
Cozy rippin it up on the intro!
