Helped immensely to dial it in the 2nd time round of owning it (had sold it the year later to a guy who was looking for an 800rb, but this came close. Bought it back from him couple years back when he found himself a 1001Rb, so i'm a happy camper xD)

The cab its running through at the rehearsal space is an eden 410 something (which considering i've got an swr goliath II 410 & its my absolute favourite 410 cabinet), that GK 800Rb, as i stated, probably needs a good tune up/once over. Also figured the 800 deserves to be set bi amped (one cab for lows, the other for highs), as it was designed to be used in that way, as well as full range. Again, won't know until it's serviced, but the rehearsal space won't do that until it's actually non functional. So who knows how long that'll take.

Indeed they do! I bought mine as a "modern" rendition of my old 70's SS peavey heads which sound amazing. The GK is a little more "portable" & i don't mind it gets beat a little. Mega work horse.

I had everything on my CP torn down so I could oil the FB, change the foam out on the pickups so I could get them lower, did the final compound polish on the chip repair, cleaned the entire bass and bridge(intentionally took out the saddles). I was ready for new EBCF's. Opened that package and...
