I don't remember what I don't remember anymore.Maybe. But I don't remember.
Mel is one of the few that unmistakably had serious dirt and sounded great. No, fantastic. If I were in a band that was suited to it, Mel would be a target. The first live album, much less so on the second.
I've never gotten a good result running this into an amp's input.Ah. I use my preamp no matter what I'm connecting to. <shrug>
Well, if I actually understand how these things work, you'd be double preamping it. Sort of overgaining-if that's a 'thing'.I've never gotten a good result running this into an amp's input.
That sounds right. Way too much. My 800RB pre is very different than MXR's.Well, if I actually understand how these things work, you'd be double preamping it. Sort of overgaining-if that's a 'thing'.
1992. I think they only made the olds for 91 and 92.
Mine only has the 305 though. Lt1 would be nice, but it's a nice smooth cruiser as it is, and does pretty good on gas considering its size.
Just great! Now I have to wipe drool off my keyboard every time you or Kara posts a CAR bird.Bad picture for Thunderbird Thursday. The day my Epi Metallic Red Bird arrived.

Ain't that someth'n!
They used West Amps and had an EB-0 pickup in his Fender Jazz, he cranked the head, no effects. 200 watt tube heads. The cabs had two 15's in each, I think he used 4 cabs.

The Boss for me.Agree to disagree. I read it and found the book engaging. But i think he is probably really tedious to deal with. He is quite volatile and unpredictable.
Living legend to meet? I would love to have a cuppa with Jeff Beck.
They should have made a doc of making the doc.We think opposite, I've always suspected that Nigel Tufnel was based on Beck. I'm sure you've seen Hail! Hail! rock & Roll? It seems to have taken a lot of patience for him to deal with Chuck. I read a book about the making of the Doc and he was supposedly a real piece of work to deal with.
Oh man. Double whammy. So sorry to hear that. At 9 feet, glad it wasn’t worse. I trust the surgery will go well and you’ll be back playing in no time. Keep your spirits up!Hello All. I haven't been able to follow for a while. On the 21st While working on finishing my Storage building Roofing I Slid Off and Fell about 9ft. When Landing I Dislocated my Right Wrist along with a Fracture. Free ride to the Hospital. They also did a Covid Test which came back Positive. Been a rough few days but am feeling a bit better today. I have Surgery Scheduled for Tomorrow. Plates and screws. Follow up for one plate removal at a later date. I look forward to hearing about the get together at Chuck's.
Play it! I don’t know about yours, but my Pelham Blue one sounds great.I should get that one out of it's case soon-ish, for some new pics.......![]()
I really enjoyed the Netflix series called Pistol, about the Sex Pistols, in which Chrissie was a central character.Keef's book was plenty of druggie stories for me. Then I made the mistake of reading Chrissie Hynde's book. I had thought she was there for so many things like Sid's last night alive that it must be really engaging. I was disappointed as the first half of the book was about drawing unicorns in high school and all the parts that I wanted to know about, she was too drunk and stoned to remember. Huge disappointment.
