That is known as failing up...Waking up with your head on the pillow hearing the deep rumble of an aftershock and actually having the time to wonder if when it reaches the surface will it be a jolt or another quake. Was enough to get me to move to Maui. I guess I failed the test.
That is very considerate of you...
What have you done with the real @WillyW ?
Better the terrifying danger you don't understand than the terrifying danger you are all to familiar with...Note: I’ve never been in a hurricane, so what am I doing, I’m considering moving to Hilton Head island, possibly an ignorant move on my part.
Manual. It was my Mother's.
BTDT.That’s kinda what I was assuming. Seems like if you’re a nervous nelly, which I’m not, you could just pack up your important stuff, batten down the hatches on the home and drive a couple hours inland for a couple day hotel stay. Then come back when it’s all passed.
Done blizzards. I was unimpressed; managed just fine. Managed deep freezes (below -40), no problem. Camped in the arctic (Resolute Bay, the same place Top Gear went to). Cold weather is easy if you are prepared/clothed for it.Currently live in Texas so I can relate to the tornado thing (without the basement unfortunately) . Done the Hurricane, blizzard, whiteout and Tsunami warning thing too. Being in the epicenter of a 6.9shaker
That a 7ender Dimension? The only 7ender I considered buying... Because it didn't sound like a 7ender, it sounded like it had humbuckers (because it did).
And sound clips of each possible combination...Nice gig.
Give us a list of basses, amps, cabs![]()

Lookin like fun, wish I could have been there. Playing with your hand in a cast has gotta be a challenge. And love the red dress!
Not a fridge. 4-10 + 15.Lookin like fun, wish I could have been there. Playing with your hand in a cast has gotta be a challenge. And love the red dress!
Some great looking basses and gear there (even a fridge in front of the fridge). And please somebody post a pic of Chuck with a smile. Happy travels everyone!
Linux sounds interesting, I'm going to look into it, I've heard of it before but always thought it was something exotic for computer experts but just looked it up, thanks.
I run Linux servers, but I think by far the best unix-like desktop OS is macOS.I use Linux Mint, it's been super easy to work with.
And when I switched to a new PC, I was amazed at how much easier (than Windows) it was to transfer.
That pic of Chuck with an ear to ear smile just made my day! Two handsome devils just lookin for fun. Keep the pics coming, those of us that couldn’t make it are really enjoying almost being there.
I have had 2 gigs with it now where I have been talking to Ric owner afterward and they thought it was a real one. The headstock shape is slightly off, and I have an “El Degas Rocker” truss rod cover on it. Other than that it’s a faithful copy, down to the stereo wiring, the cap(that I disconnected) and the lifting bridge(that I put extra screws in). That thing sounds pretty close to the real deal for a copy, I couldn't tell by looking at it either at least from a distance. I like the sound of those Mesa heads.
Oh yeah!!! Wish I could have made it down!
