I used to consume massive amounts of alcohol, but never ever would have thought that was a good idea. Some people should only smell empty beer bottles. That's talent
When you got there did they sing "Here Comes The Su...NVM.
Yep, can’t remember how many times I was on water bail detail all night long when major thunder storms and tornadoes would come through and knock out the power to the sump pump. You remember Kentucky well!
I have to admit that flooding is unnerving. You don't know how high it will get, when it will stop, how long it will stay and it always takes months if not more to repair if in the house. Never had water on the main floor, but did have 3ft in a basement--as I was finishing it and making a living room and bedroom......
TY.To all my American friends, Happy Independence Day!

At the house mentioned above (our first), we must have had water or a spring under it given the huge amount of water we dealt with before it flooded. I brought a chipping hammer home and dug out a whole the size of a large garbage can and used that as the crock, drilled several 1" holes in it. Got a Zoeller (made just across the river), sewage pump and 2" discharge and talk about water removal. It would suck your pants off if standing at the edge. (Slight hyperbole.) Some lights would dim when it clicked on. Only was on a few seconds, maybe 10, if that, before the can was evacuated. Useless when the power went out.Yep, can’t remember how many times I was on water bail detail all night long when major thunder storms and tornadoes would come through and knock out the power to the sump pump.
Thank you! You're a great American! To all my American friends, Happy Independence Day!

Got it water proofed with a warranty and sold it. Moved to where we had a landslide behind the house.....

Now you tell me....
Should be a great cab, but I've never played one. Have a safe trip!Good morning Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. Third gig this past Saturday with the middle eastern/Spanish band. Definitely feeling more comfortable with the music. Played the new NR and was again very pleased with the sound. Used the same little Ashdown and 2X10 cab. Just bought a 15" Schroeder cab from the TB classifieds. Looking forward to trying it out when it arrives.
Leaving for San Francisco in the morning for a conference. There until Sunday, and will have a bit of time to be a tourist. Wondering if anyone knows any great music shops, clubs with live music or other places they would recommend. I believe the Giants are in town, a good friend recommended taking the Sausalito ferry as an outing, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Independence Day everyone.
That's me, a dollar late and a day short. Now you tell me....
That was long before generators were a common and non-commercial thing. But I won't live without one now.
