Time to rip it up before it hits 103 and crazy wind. Happy Fourth !!!

@Miles_ONeal are you keeping these?

2011 Gibson T’bird 12” fret to middle of the neck pickup 10 1/8” by my eye, using an IKEA paper tape measure.
Is that what it is supposed to be?

I don't have a 2011 on my list. If you measure from the 12th fret wire to the center of both pickups, I'll add it to the list. The closest I have in measurements currently are:

2014 Epiphone Classic IV Pro 10 1/8" 14 7/16"
2013 Gibson Thunderbird 10 1/4" 14 5/8"
2019 Epiphone Classic IV Pro 10 1/4" 14 1/2"
2015 Gibson Thunderbird 10 1/4" 14 1/2"

Thank you. I wish I would have taken a pic of the cavity before I dropped it off at guitar urgent care! I will get the low-down on what it was and post.

When both volume pots are turned down to 0 I still had a very faint sound. A normal bass sound - nothing distorted, humming or buzzing. I bet it’s always been that way and just never noticed it before.
Hi All! According to my luthier - and my comprehension - a ground wire connected to the neck pup had fried insulation and from where it was it was causing the neck pup to continue to emit a signal. His explanation was a little over my head but I guess at the end of the day the install was faulty and the 55-point inspection from the supplier did not catch it.

Good ol Sweetwater eh ? Never quite sure which 55 points they're checking.
I have had an item or two checked off the the instrument didn't even have. Pencil whipping at its best ( or worst )
