I have had 2 gigs with it now where I have been talking to Ric owner afterward and they thought it was a real one. The headstock shape is slightly off, and I have an “El Degas Rocker” truss rod cover on it. Other than that it’s a faithful copy, down to the stereo wiring, the cap(that I disconnected) and the lifting bridge(that I put extra screws in).
I had some real Ric tuners that I put on it, so that also makes it look real. It also has a Ric mute, not that I use it.

The Mesa sounds great and it’s easy to dial in for the situation at hand.
I seem to be the only one in the Subway club that runs Ampeg cabs with a Mesa, but I think they pair up nicely. I had it on the 2 ohm setting to throttle down the wattage.
Andy says he designs the Subway heads to be used with diverse cabinets and that getting a new head shouldn’t mean you have to buy new cabs.

Good morning Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. Third gig this past Saturday with the middle eastern/Spanish band. Definitely feeling more comfortable with the music. Played the new NR and was again very pleased with the sound. Used the same little Ashdown and 2X10 cab. Just bought a 15" Schroeder cab from the TB classifieds. Looking forward to trying it out when it arrives.
Leaving for San Francisco in the morning for a conference. There until Sunday, and will have a bit of time to be a tourist. Wondering if anyone knows any great music shops, clubs with live music or other places they would recommend. I believe the Giants are in town, a good friend recommended taking the Sausalito ferry as an outing, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Independence Day everyone.
Ask @JIO, @Chucky Stiletti, and @Stealth57. It’s too bad your conference wasn’t last week. It would have been great to have you join the fun.

Hi All! According to my luthier - and my comprehension - a ground wire connected to the neck pup had fried insulation and from where it was it was causing the neck pup to continue to emit a signal. His explanation was a little over my head but I guess at the end of the day the install was faulty and the 55-point inspection from the supplier did not catch it.
Good info to know. Thanks for the follow up.
