Thunderbird Club

Too short for mine; might help someone(N/A):Epiphone Premium Solid Body Bass Guitar Gig Bag Black | Reverb

Addendum: FWIW, there are keyboard gig bags/soft cases that are big enuff. However, you hafta add padding. I have one, but it's more of a PITA than my Coffin(TM) case, so it sits in a closet.
I also have a Rockbag by Warwick, specifically made for a Dean bass, that the 67NR fits in but I don't feel it's protective enuff.
The padding of these is very thin, just 5mm. These are just to prevent the bass from getting dirty with dust, no?

Those all seem to be around 48 inches long, which is 4 inches shorter than any of my Bird cases.

I have this Ritter bag that fits all of my bolt-neck Epi Birds but does not fit the VP. I like this one a lot.

This is a cheaper version:

I have this bag but I think mine is the heavy duty version:

This one will work for Thunderbirds since they are the same basic shape an an Explorer. If this is made like my Bird bag, it has good padding.

Now, the VP is longer than the CP, is that right? I wonder if those Thomann bags would fit my CP?

Do any of you guys have youtube channels and post videos of you playing the birds?

Yes - there's more that will likely pop up, I've done several of my Birds.

1977 Thunderbird fun.......

Both of those channels are yours? Subscribed to the first. I'm excited to see some T-bird action that isn't Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, System of a Down, Muse or Marilyn Manson...

The demo is my own channel, there's several videos and explanations of some of my Thunderbirds.
My band is The Nasty Habits, there are quite a few videos of us on YT, the sound quality varies greatly depending on who shot the vid.

Come on, this is Chuck! They know him. He pulls up, Shaun helps him unload, and Katy jumps in and goes to park his car, breaking the sound barrier in less than two blocks. They clock out in time to watch the gig, usually accompanied by the water dragon.

I’m only half ass following the case/gig bag discussion so I’m not sure I’m being helpful but that has never stopped me before.

I think my CP has barely fit in the Ibanez gig bag. I have the tan one. And the padding is crappy thin. I’m not sure if it has the big headstock or not.

my Greco tb70 has the huge headstock and I don’t have a gig bag that fits it. But the epiphone hard case does. I got the epiphone case because it was available where I purchased it from and got a good deal at $99 shipped.

If I needed an NR case I would modify the epiphone one as you can see it has plenty of room.
