Thunderbird Club

I've been GAS-ing for a "better" case for the 67 'Bird, but even though the Coffin(TM) case is big and unwieldy, it does what it's s'posed to do and I already have it, so unless sumpin' comes along, I gonna live with it. It's only a PITA for a few minutes each gig. And it does look kinda cool.

I got my RNR back from the luthier who was thinning out the neck. It's a huge improvement. I'll take it to band practice on Thurs. to see how it works for me, but I might take it back for him to flatten out the back middle of the neck. The work revealed a beautiful grain. He was also really impressed with how hard the neck wood was (ahem).

Am I the only one that didn't understood a single word of what the singer sang?
That soft whispering singing was/is a thing for a number of singers. Some go so far as to sound like they are gasping for air. I actually like it when Nikki sings unless he's belting it out. Which is not often it seems. Love the song and a number of others though.
