Punctuation: What? Were they thinking?
I’ve been remiss in not posting this earlier. Nikki Monninger of course!
Naw, man. It looks GLORIOUS.I've been GAS-ing for a "better" case for the 67 'Bird, but even though the Coffin(TM) case is big and unwieldy, it does what it's s'posed to do and I already have it, so unless sumpin' comes along, I gonna live with it. It's only a PITA for a few minutes each gig. And it does look kinda cool.

(I switched straps-the gold one is now on the LPB2/5)
I mean, it makes a fair amount of sense. That engine layout means that the drive shaft is going to be going the right direction without the use of right angle gearing, so fewer driveline losses. And if I remember correctly, those bikes were nearly unkillable. And if you have a cx650t, you really have something.
I've always had a soft spot for the vfrs, although I've never owned one. I briefly considered one for my bun burner gold a few years ago, but the fuel economy is wretched so it didn't meet requirements.
The current ride is a 2008 versys 650, and I won't sully this thread by posting a photoand yes I can call it ugly because I own it!
Yeah, but I'm a pedestrian, seems like most drivers don't care about running over and hitting pedestrians, that's at least my 31 years of life experience.

You need to carry a baseball bat or Mjolnir or something.
I was going to guess a three wheeled CanAm. Looks like you got the Cow though. Hey, as long as you like it, that’s all that matters.Careful.I own a motorcycle which a reviewer once described as "an aesthetic anomaly." That is... a very kind way to put it. 15 years ago when these first came out I flinched every time I saw one and said I could never. Well.
So those aren’t stock CP pups (unless they put cans and rings over the stock TB+ pups). Stock pups is a big reason to buy the CP. These might even be Chinabuckers, which is a step in the wrong direction. And most likely not a limited edition Eppi Tbird as advertised. That’s two strikes. The price is strike three. It's neck-through, so probably is a Classic Pro. Looks like mine - Internet says it's a made in Indonesia, March 2013 model......
I hope you realize I was just having fun with what you said, no ill intent.Yeah, I realize that came a bit shmuck-y. I simply meant that I finally got something usable and I seem to be the only one that needed one of 'em.
.........

That's where VPs were/are made. When did they stop making Classic Pros? It's neck-through, so probably is a Classic Pro. Looks like mine - Internet says it's a made in Indonesia, March 2013 model......
Sorry to hear that. Might be cheaper for them to offer a healthy discount that makes keeping it worthwhile. But's GC so.....Was excited today because a new toy was scheduled for delivery from Guitar Center. It arrived, but has a crack in the face that was not mentioned in the listing on their website. I had saved the pictures from the listing and the crack is there, but it looked like a reflection, not a crack. EDIT: This is not shipping damage. The box was in great condition.

I need to open it to see if this is a finish crack or if its thru the wood into the control cavity. With the GC return policy I should not be out any money. If I keep it, and that is a BIG if, they are going to credit me some money.
That's where VPs were made. When did they stop making Classic Pros?
Thanks. I thought they had not been making them longer than even the 2013 date, for some reason. But I'm pretty ignorant about CPs.Seems like pretty recently.
I remember from our last discussion of Classic Pros (a few thousand pages back at this point, I'm sure.....) that it was like 2019 or something? A lot later than I had thought.....
I always take everything extremely seriously on/in Thunderbird Club.I was going to guess a three wheeled CanAm. Looks like you got the Cow though. Hey, as long as you like it, that’s all that matters.

When they do it live, you can tell she is really concentrating. Sometimes she and Chris lock into the line and play an interlude without Brian playing for a couple of minutes. It’s mesmerizing. She's always such a machine on this song!
My serial number says February 2014 with October 2013 dates on the bottom of the TB+ pickups.Thanks. I thought they had not been making them longer than even the 2013 date, for some reason. But I'm pretty ignorant about CPs.
