Thunderbird Club

It still is ruining things. My Motown band just can’t get a break. Different members keep catching Covid and we haven’t been able to get together.
Who's That was in a multi band outdoor tribute show early this summer. Several weeks prior we all came down with covid and were sweating negative tests right up to the show as were other bands. We all made it but we were tired, lackluster and under rehearsed. I know how you feel, covid is making it very difficult to be in a band.

Played at our new church for the first time today. Electric guitar player’s car wouldn’t start so he wasn’t there and I had plenty of room. The CP did great and didn’t hit anyone.
Happy surprise: the house temp rose 10F yesterday due to AC death. The CP had been out of the case for practice. Cased it last night, hauled it to church this AM (10-12 degrees cooler), opened the case, but it was 30 minutes before I got to check tuning. Two strings were spot on and two were a cent or two off. Brilliant.
Nice!

Pretty impressive work!
When I was fairly young (somewhere between 4-7 yo) I got to tour that ship when it was at Bremerton Naval Shipyard, went there a few times in the years after that and toured the USS Missouri at least twice as well.
Thanks. I'll pass that onto his wife. That will make her smile. He showed me I pic of the deck not long before he got sick and I was impressed. Looked much better than these pics indicated. I believe he was stationed out West. I know he spent much time at Pearl Harbor.

Not in those 'racing' pants.

Can we please get back to Susan Dey now?

Not in those 'racing' pants.

As Robin Williams once said about men ballet dancers in spandex tights - you could see what religion they are! First time I've ever heard lycra cycling shorts referred to as 'racing pants'! :D
