I personally never got seeking harm for the one who isn't one's spouse. It's illogical. That third person never made any promises to you to not do that. Not that I wouldn't be mad, but it would be misdirected to the wrong person if I found/learned about my wife with some guy. He should know better, but she was the one who promised to know and do better.
I have always felt the same way. Unless it was with, say, a close friend where there were promises made.
But even there, the deepest promises were the spouse’s.

I did that for years with no issues, then one day I tried to remove the speed knob on my Eppi guitar. The pot shaft came off with the knob. Probably a fluke, only happened once, but to be safe I switched to the knob puller where I have good view of the knob to make sure nothing else is happening that could be a problem.

Wow - never pulled the pot shaft doing that. I'd have to fault the (lack of) quality of the pot over the knob removal technique... but whatever works best for anyone. :)

Played at our new church for the first time today. Electric guitar player’s car wouldn’t start so he wasn’t there and I had plenty of room. The CP did great and didn’t hit anyone.
Happy surprise: the house temp rose 10F yesterday due to AC death. The CP had been out of the case for practice. Cased it last night, hauled it to church this AM (10-12 degrees cooler), opened the case, but it was 30 minutes before I got to check tuning. Two strings were spot on and two were a cent or two off. Brilliant.

I asked an older friend's wife to take a couple pics of the model of the carrier he served on at the end of Vietnam. He passed away of covid in 2020 and never got to finish it. Not good pics, like V's work, when Joe finished a train or landscape (of the mule team below the ship) it looked real.

Pretty impressive work!
When I was fairly young (somewhere between 4-7 yo) I got to tour that ship when it was at Bremerton Naval Shipyard, went there a few times in the years after that and toured the USS Missouri at least twice as well.

Didn't hit anyone? Ya gotta try harder.;)

What are your basses?

Yamaha BB1024, and lightly modded Squier Jag SS. The problem is right arm position, so that's not overcomable with a different strap or a stand.

If you’re in the Austin area, I’m down.

Sorry, nope. But thanks!

Don't tell anybody, but this week I'm probably going to sneak a ride in.

In 1967(same year as my NR!), I got to tour* CVA(N)65, USS Enterprise. For 6 months. (In 66 I toured* CVS10, USS Yorktown, for 6 months also).
Thirty four years after stepping offa the Yorktown, I got to take my family aboard-she's now a museum ship in Charleston, SC.
Edit: CV11, USS Intrepid is in NYC; CV12, USS Hornet is in Alameda, CA. Both museum ships. Same class/design as CV9, USS Essex and USS Yorktown. [Essex scrapped]

*OK, served on

Good stuff. I prolly know all but 2.
There’s 4 I’ve never heard of. I’ll be hacking my way through.
Tomorrow’s a holiday so I’ll try to at least get the songs on my head and make some notes.
I found that if I search YouTube for the Title and the arranger’s name, a lot of times I can find a concert or big band playing the same chart.

I think they make a little blue pill for that.;):D

On that note... I bought a GT road bike 10 years ago that came with a component group-set by Shimano called "Tiagra". Wonder where they got their inspiration...
