An interesting thing about CP basses are that a number of owners or sellers don’t realize it’s a CP so you frequently find amazing deals on them if you look hard enough. For instance here’s a CP that the seller has priced the same as a standard Eppi IV…And no love for the discontinued CP

it’s a great deal (but located in Italy unfortunately).
And here’s a CP that’s priced about right for what it is…

Big difference in pricing, so it pays to do your homework on this particular model.

Agreed. I got mine from a guitarist that really didn't know what he had. $400 with original Epi case...and no shipping or sales tax

It doesn’t have a bottom plate. The pickup just sits in the cover, held in by the pressure of the foam pushing it up.
It wouldn’t take much to create a mounting plate, but I’m pretty happy with how it looks:

I don’t think it’s worth $350 USD, but it’s probably a decent bass.
I have a P/J version, they are quite nice, but $350 is almost 3x their street value....
Im going to sell mine and if I break even at $125 I’d consider myself lucky.
it is a damn fine bass.
