Thunderbird Club

What are you going call him?
At the gym several years ago, one of the staff was wearing a t-shirt with this:
[This invalid link has been removed]
as he had done an event for them (for those that don't know, it is an anti-starvation charity).

I casually asked to what he intended to feed the children... The look was priceless.

I'd go for the one from Harold and Maude.

That was a great movie!

Just picked up an early 2000s Gibson Thunderbird. Previous owner added a strap button at the top horn. Took a while to understand how the bridge gets adjusted, still not quite sure. Should the front screw be higher than the 2 at the rear? And what fretboard do these have?
Nice! My 3 points are all pretty flat, but I have heard people say the front screw should be a bit higher.

Typically the front of the 3-point bridge is 1/8” higher.

Strat calling @MCF 1962 with slab board.

Only asking $16k.

If only 100 times cheaper, even I’d be all over that

I’m with ya on this one. Never took the time to develop a taste for Zappa. Don’t dislike him at all, but truth be told, I can’t name one song he did and it seems like the few songs of his that I have listened to were more satire or poking fun at something.

Really only listened to one album, a mates elder brother had it.
Something about a mountain, a tree and I think a telephone box.
(Happy to be told what that was, Joe the Mountain maybe? Long time ago)
