I played one at the Chicago Music Exchange and it sounded ok. I also played a '62 Jazz and it was amazing. It was also $25,000.00. I just thought it was cool to be plugged in and left in the room alone. I guess they figured I could have flashed a gold-card.

Oh-oo, you talked me into it...dug out the 'bird and took a few pics of where it's at right now...pickups bought, cavities routed (and then some...oops...got putty)...just waiting to take time to do it at the new house.
I hooked the hot wire in the middle rivet of the volume controls, dry, and laid the braid on the back of the pots, fixed with tape. I get a faint sound, tapping with a screwdriver, pots on high...
No 60 cycle hum, tho. Just not enough output...all parts check out with multimeter.

I've been thinking the same thing. Makes me wonder what non-supporting members see - one comment per four ads?

Except now I'm not seeing ads. Maybe it was a glitch and they're working on it.
I prefer to eat at places that don't walk.
Actually, I'm seeing one ad per page - a few comments in. None at the end.
Sometime back, I discovered that if I "liked" posts and then followed a 'link' somebody posted all my likes disappeared and I had to re-like them, which got to be a PITA. So now I read everything and either reply(if I have something to say)-or not-or post an emoji.It’s such an effective blocker that it even blocks your “likes” of other posts.
