The 6th day of Christmas: My Limited Edition Epiphone Pelham Blue Thunderbird:
Hard to tell from the video but I assume you're talking about the Ampeg bass he's playing. Eastwood guitars makes one that looks like it and is priced reasonably but I've never played one or heard one first hand so I don't know if there any good. Always thought that particular Ampeg style as well as the Ampeg Devil bass were cool looking though.

Recently when I was shopping for a new bass (and ended up with my Midtown), I tried an Eastwood Classic 4 and a Surfcaster. The Classic 4 had the sound I was looking for, but I couldn't get past the floating bridge. The Surfcaster looks really cool, but wasn't the sound I was looking for. Both played nicely. The EEB looks great, but wasn't what I wanted.
I had EEB-1 GAS briefly, before realising/deciding that an NR is really what I want and need.

So I've been wondering about the 12 Days of Christmas tradition...
Other than the song, I could only find very limited info about the tradition, which is supposed to start on December 25th and end on January 5th.
So with these dates in mind - Why on Earth did we start our 12 Days of Christmas postings on December 14th???
Do we have to start over?

The season of Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, and for nearly a month Christians await the coming of Christ in a spirit of expectation, singing hymns of longing. Then, on December 25, Christmas Day itself ushers in 12 days of celebration, ending only on January 6 with the feast of the Epiphany.
I suppose we could have done the advent Thunderbird calender and then spent 12 days getting ourselves 3 sheets to the wind with the tipple of your choice followed by a humungous feast to banish the hangover from hell

So basically our current 12 Days of Christmas ends on the 25th, where the actual 12 Days of Christmas begins - So why not just do it all over again for the fun of it?
