Oh yeah there have been a lot of greats but I mean the impact they had on the media. For example they had the largest TV viewing audience on the Ed Sullivan show up to that time, I believe Shea Stadium was the largest concert up to that time and is considered the first major concert, thousands of kids waiting for them at airports, comedians laughing at their hair. They were everywhere. The Beatles completely changed music. My cousins lived in LI, NY and went to Shea Stadium, they said all you could hear were the girls screaming.

First it was Frank Sinatra, Elvis and The Beatles, nothing has really had the impact of those three since then. I mean it a different time, three major networks, no computers, no cell phones, no cable. I really don't know if phenomenons like those three could happen again.
