Ha! I gave up the Sacto place in '17. I don't miss the Turkeys! They can be mean if you get too close. They are all over Rancho Cordova and breed like rabbits.

A little '65 Pontiac perfection...........My best buddy Bill (I run model trains with him) and his progress restoring his latest car. I has a ways to go but is drivable - It's quite loud in the most pleasing way.

Interior is getting close too, mostly body work now.

I didn't mention that that was my Pavlov treatment for fear of provoking you know who. A Gamo .177 isn't as effective as the Strike Point .22 version.

On 101 you see the signs for Gilroy proclaiming it to be the garlic capital, then as you drive through, you smell that it is true.

It's the same on the 99 as you pass Shafter (RIP the amazing Annette Funicello, one of the nicest people who ever lived). The smell during harvest time is wonderful.

AC/DC - Back in Black. The only album you'll ever need to buy from them to hear what all their songs sound like.

Both Ringo and George hit the ground running after the break up. Surprisingly, John and Paul didn't seem as prolific in new song releases as I thought they'd be.

George had a good three years of pent up material. It seemed to be "next time George" until the final break up. They were wary of the religious overtone in the songs. Paul started slowly, but hit his stride with Band On The Run as John did with Imagine. Ringo was, well Ringo. It Don't Come Easy was the first song I played in front of an audience at the Junior High talent show. Good times.

We have three herd of deer that hang out in our neighborhood, eating the flora, pooping everywhere, and dropping dear ticks. They're cute but a royal pain. They also run into cars. Literally.

I get a visit almost every morning at the mountain house by a Mom and
her two kids. They come around 7:00, have breakfast and go on their way.

He is one of my least favorite baseball players of all time. So I don't care about any of those people.

But I will say this about him. He is a good color commentator when he is part of a broadcast team for games. He's a lot better than that idiot Orel Hershiser, and I'm a Dodger fan!

We have all of those except turkeys. We have peacocks instead, although far less than we used to. Haven't seen one lately but I hear one now and then.

We have wild turkeys in Mass, they've proliferated over the last years, especially the last five or ten. They're still not common but there are a lot more around than when I was a kid.
