Interior is getting close too, mostly body work now.

One of my favs is Lisa Dalbello. Heart did a version of her song "Wait For An Answer" and there was another one too IIRC. Queensryche covered her maybe biggest hit "Gonna Get Close To You".
Amazing singer, songwriter and musician.

To those who offered support following my unexpected layoff from my employer due to a "reduction in force" aka RIF two months ago, I give you my heartfelt thanks. Today was was my last official day working for them. They did me a favor. After several interviews and negotiations with prospective employers, I accepted a better job today than the one I had. Thanks to all who were there for me and offered support in a very stressful time. It means a lot. And it is what this club is all about. Friendship and support. This club rocks!

This club DOES rock. And that includes you!

That's fantastic. So very glad things have worked out in that you are free from a crappy place and can hopefully enjoy your work until you decide retire. As I said before, their loss. I'm sure I can speak for everyone, that to celebrate you should buy another Thunderbird. I personally suggest a '64!

Thanks! Yeah. I figure a one year honeymoon period and if it isn't working after the second year, retire. I'm not going through another job search again. I'm too old for this s**t. And I encountered lot of subtle age discrimination along the way. Potential employers are too savvy to be overt about it.

I expect to be adding another cab and maybe an amp. Just need to arrange a meet. I'll start a search for a Greco after the new year.

When I was a kid I almost bought a '65 GTO with tri-power and a 4 speed. It was beat and had a 400 instead of the original 389 but I really wanted that thing. The seller changed his mind and I don't know what happened to it. He only wanted 400 bucks for it, this was probably in 1971 or '72.

Parallel Lines was where they really took off in the US, but yeah. Their first two definitely got airplay in Atlanta.

There's a flock of about 100 that roam the 40 acres behind our property. Nothing like turkey all over the yard. I have an approach based on Pavlov but listing it will provoke the powers that be even though it involves no permanent damage.

We have three herd of deer that hang out in our neighborhood, eating the flora, pooping everywhere, and dropping dear ticks. They're cute but a royal pain. They also run into cars. Literally.

We have 2.5 acres and are mostly surrounded by woods. as a result, we have skunk, snakes, deer, geese possum, coyote, turkey, hawks and owls. Snakes--did I mention sons of satan? One gets not much bigger than a big fishing worm. Seems like I'm forgetting something. Every so many months we find something else we didn't know about. People, we have those too. Some domesticated others not so much.

We have all of those except turkeys. We have peacocks instead, although far less than we used to. Haven't seen one lately but I hear one now and then.

Ouch. They have a studio that used to be an inlaw cottage. All I had to bring was my CP. They invited me back for next Saturday. I hear their normal bass player is out of town for a month. Hey, a month of real playing is more than I've had before, so taking whatever happens and enjoying it.

All I really know about her is that she was baseball star Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend for some time. I understand he dodged a bullet on that one.

He is one of my least favorite baseball players of all time. So I don't care about any of those people.
