I do the same. 24hr clock just makes sense. It is a small adjustment at first, and might be related to the disorientation of basic training, but works so well. The radio guys would do time in Zulu (GMT)... that is confusing.

I babysat once for a friend years ago who waited tables at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom in Atlanta. She was supposed to get home by 2AM, but it was after 6AM when she got home. I was on the living room floor sound asleep. Turned out Johnny was playing that night. After his show, he came over to her section to hang out. He had a big briefcase full of illicit stuff; she wasn't even sure about half of what she'd done. I was impressed she'd found her way home. Apparently that was his MO. I'm impressed the cat lasted all those years.

That thing was pretty expensive, it was three or four hundred bucks when I bought it at least five or ten years ago, but it doesn't lose any bottom at all which is why I wanted it. You can even get an almost dead-on Mel Schacher grind out of it. They still make them I believe.

Please stop with Mel sound. I have no need for that sound, but it sounded so freaking good.

*Combined from large rivers and several huge lakes. Most with usable beach areas in various places. But none of that Tsunami business.

I'm not a boater of any kind but I can say that I love living near the ocean, just don't tell anyone how beautiful Washington is!

Ha! Yeah, I don't think we will win any beach comparison awards! But some are really nice. We have beaches, just not as much water as your beaches!

We even have white sand beaches!

Hey there T-Birders! I have a quick question for you if you'll be so kind as to indulge me. I have the opportunity to pick up an Epi Blackbird in pretty good condition for a great price. I've always liked the T-Bird shape but have to admit I'm partial to the white "60s" Epiphone in terms if look. How different are these models (I know about the lack of volume and all that) in terms of sound, etc? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
