New Bass Day at Mike Lull's, he was a great sport - It's not everyday someone such as myself shows up, he took the shot.

Was that the first time you showed up at Lull's in drag?

You bought the new 7ender MIM in opal! How do you like it? I have yet to unbox mine, as I wanted something to open on Xmas day (=loser). I am going to spend part of the day installing the "new" Super55s and Babicz bridge. Not all birds, but on topic with the painted headstock conversation View attachment 1015276
I'll definitely sell the BiCen when the offer's right. The '64s might be on my funeral pyre.So no selling off your beautiful Thunderbirds, then..?

Sad to say but 2016 strikes again. One of my fave old rockers Rick Parfitt has passed away.

Happy holidays, everyone. Pardon the non-Tbird post. Since we are celebrating the holidays (and the gift of music), I thought I would share pics of something I had made for one of my bandmates. I am not as talented with tools as many of you are so I bought the parts/materials and outsourced the 1 x 12" extension cab, to another buddy. It was his first build but I think it turned out pretty well. We need to keep our guitarists and drummers happy so they never say "turn down the bass".View attachment 1015465 View attachment 1015466
