I was traveling with two southern Italians. They describe it as German food. And they are correct; it is schnitzel with tomato and basil.
I also had caprese salad at each meal - love the tomatoes in Italy.
I was wondering if that would just slide by with many thinking it was some kind of Canadian specialty. Better if someone asked for a recipe. Best if someone visited Canada and asked for a serving...Ahem!

Yes, just. I traced Chucky's NR in leu of eventually making one. 13"x19" will do.
Went and measured mine. Really, really close. Might be a 32nd"(or whatever it is in those weird measurements
) short on the rear bout.

I quite enjoy the tribalism of Italy (IIRC, Italy only unified in the early 1900s). No I haven't. Never heard of it (like a lot of things). Is that a thing or is it a Canadian joke for Americans? I know in Alaska and I believe Maine and the North West Moose is popular, but I'm not sure about any thing beyond that. Around here Bullwinkle is the only moose people have seen.
