No. I bought the 67 NR in 73. It came with the OHSC, which eventually 'died'. Attempted repairs didn't work out, so I've gone through a few replacements-a softside keyboard case(unwieldy PITA), that gig bag(w/o padding I didn't trust it), and the Coffin case(OK, but unwieldy, kinda heavy, and PITA to stash at a gig). No 'off-the-shelf' case is long enuff-has to be 51+" inside length.

What about the new Gibson N.R. bass cases, still too short?

No. Epiphones have a polyurethane finish. They are very well done and very tough.
It's difficult to remove that finish with chemical paint strippers! It's much more efficient to use a heat gun and scraper.

Epi finishes are TOUGH to remove. This one took a heat gun, scrapers, and chemicals to get it all off. Not an easy job.

But now it looks like this:

Most finishes now are a poly-epoxy and very tough to remove.

Great looking Scott! Do you have a matching claw?
I may have a few tailpieces left. The rest are backordered. I like airfoil better than "claw" . The Claw is the brass monstrosity Fender come out with in the late 70's. I bet Ray Detrich would agree.
