Thunderbird Club

yeah, playing pro at that (mentioned before) with my teacher who used to sign a disclaimer since I was 15 and the drinking age in FL was 18 at the time. since as you pointed out before, I have a PhD in stupidity, I had that bass refinned natural, made fretless, and finally traded it in for a bar tab at 21.....:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
You did what??? I'm glad I never did anything that bad..... (flat out lying here because I have!)

It somehow makes me feel better I'm not alone in majoring in stupidity! At that young time in life only, I hope. I've worked hard to be less stupid and have seen slight improvement!

I see the woodpeckers have been at your bass as well.

Know what? You guys gave me an idea: take advantage of some spare pickups I have to do a project in 2023: build a bass with pickups taken from PBass and an Epiphone EB3.
I'll talk to my luthier, about PBass or Thunderbird body.
:woot:

Nope. That is what the basses of the first batch cost. There were additional costs such as shipping cost and import taxes of course. But €181 was the price of the complete bass itself.

I think I paid a total of $330 for the Bach NR with shipping. Can't remember exactly but it was a screaming deal!!

Ok, I wasn't aware there was a Gibson Goth.

Didn't either, just learning about'em myself.

Pulled the trigger on an Epi Goth body and a Fender Aerodyne Jazz neck, hopeful on a good visual match between the 2. Should get the parts in a couple of weeks. If I don't like the Epi's stock pickup sound, might go with active EMGs, like my current FenderBird.

Wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment. I have no words for what Chuck said...
and believe it or not, the bar was called “Las Griegas” just outside San Pedro de Alcantara (Malaga) and was owned by an english hooligan called Martin who wanted to learn bass…..not that it makes it any better or anything….
