Thunderbird Club

I remember them. Not my cup of coffee.

I'm surprised you have heard them before - they are pretty obscure having only made that one LP. Mine was a cut-out bin find for $1.99 when it was new in '71. I liked the way they looked on the back pic.

here tonight (5 to 8)….what to bring, what to bring….

Seriously, IIRC the band area is pretty tight (maybe 8x8) tucked into a corner by the double doors, so a short scale bass would be good, or maybe your Curlee bass and a small rig or combo.
damn George! you are GOOD….. totally right in every sense…always used my Gretsch for the same reason but now that the Curlee has arrived you may be on to something…..
have you been?

Yes, a couple of years ago when I was up for car week at Pebble. Don’t recall who was playing but it was either a Friday or Saturday night. IIRC we also caught Bands on the Beach (Jefferson Airplane, AKA Jefferson Starship, AKA Starship, AKA that band that used to have Grace Slick). Forgot how many great songs they had over the years.
