Good info on the SIT Power Wounds for the 22NR. The GHS Precision Flats were atrocious on that bass, not a good match at all. Looking forward to your finger playing experience on the 22NR with David E. strings vs the SIT PWs.
Looking forward to Donnie's impressions with the same bass, but I still suspect they're the same strings. Here are the two sets. Note that the string model names are the same.

I also like LaBella "Deep Talkin' Flats" but in a heavier gauge. Those and GHS's Precision Flats. :bassist: In fact, I took my Supersonic w/GHS flats to our BG rehearsal last night and it sounded GREAT! I started out w/flats on my BG bass ('66 J) and switched to D'Addario rounds at one point for more definition. But hearing this bass with flats in the mix reminded me of why I started with that combo.

I tried the .110 E La Bella Jamerson (Original 1954) set a few times and for some reason I kept getting dissonance from the E with both sets, I tried taking them off and making sure I hadn't twisted them during installation and everything. I really liked them except for that and I'm sure it was user error, I also had opened up the nut for them. They felt good and sounded good otherwise, I had to crank up the truss rod but the P bass neck stayed straight. Maybe it was too close to the pickup? I'm sure I must have tried that too but I will try it again some day, they sounded great especially for those big fat Duck Dunn notes high up on the neck.

Boom!

In case anyone wants to try some SITs....I was able to get my Power Wounds for $14.99 and the Foundations for $20, plus a 10% discount and free shipping from Gimmesomestrings.com. A guy (also) named Jason runs it and seems like a great guy. Fast shipping as well.
