Nope, I don’t normally waste my time or insult the seller by tire kicking or low balling. If it’s a fair price I’ll buy it, if not I’ll wait for one that is. And if that opportunity never materializes then it just wasn’t meant to be. There’s plenty of equally nice birds out there to choose from.

That said, I would consider a straight trade for one of my basses that market values at around $2500 to $3000, but I didn’t see any note from the seller about trades.

Austin's FB marketplace is pretty weak on good bass gear, but Nashville is pretty sweet. Mark's Cataldo is still up for sale there for a grand and someone else listed an NR at $1500.

It’s a nice bass, but I’d rather spend a couple thousand more and get something vintage.

WLW I just went looking for the same thing. Half a million watts.

The story about WLW was that you could pick it up on a barbed wire fence in places. No radio necessary. When I was a kid, they had dialed it back quite a bit, but you could still get WLW near Columbus. Their transmitter was somewhere near Cincinnati. I listened to Big Red Machine baseball games on WLW.

And if you ever sell yours, I'll probably start thinking about why I need two kidneys. What strings did you have on it when I played it? It became my holy grail that evening.

I recognize those bass cabinets. Two of 'em would sound fantastic. Funny thing about a 361 Power Plus cabinet is that it "only" has 200 watts. Proof that wattage doesn't mean what anybody thinks it means these days.
