“Dang” seems to be a purely US word. Not a word we use here, although there are a bunch of other 4 letter words we do use.
(I think I know where it comes from, we just use the word dang replaces.)
The bad thing about those old phones is there was no backspace button. Start to dial and get a wrong digit there was no going back.
Unless you're going to pick the bird up pass on it, if it doesn't have a case or gigbag it's too risky... Who knows IF the seller would send it or how and in what conditions it'd arrive...

We had a 4 way, then 3. It was cheaper. Single parent and all that. One lady was just down the street and she also liked to talk, or leave the phone off the hook so she could use it later. Had to go down there a few times to tell her we needed to use the phone. When my mom married my non-bio, but real dad when I was finished HS he said that crap has got to go!I remember that too, my father got rid of it quickly, the lady down the street like to yap.
Exactly. And the DOS in those things was primitive.
When I was a kid my mother use to say "sugar" instead a four letter word that begins with the same letter. I think 'dang' is an old kind of countrified expression like something you would have heard on Hee Haw. 'Gol dang it all to heck!'
